Not a Drill

The Calwood wildfire raged at 8,000 feet elevation near Jamestown, Colorado on Oct. 17, 2020. More than eight thousand acres were burned in mere hours.

This view from the East Boulder trailhead in Gunbarrel, CO is less than 10 miles from the fire line in the lower fields, showing the plumes of smoke that have risen thousands of feet into the sky and will travel hundreds of miles on the western winds.

Climate change is a scourge of the western United States and fires are the smoke signal to help the planet.

This is not a drill, this is the real thing. Now. Today. Please vote for representatives locally and nationally who prioritize protecting the environment.
